This feels like a classic, I have nothing intelligent or witty to say, nothing exciting has happened, but I haven't posted in a long time so I better post, post.
We have been very busy, but that is a good thing because it keeps us out of trouble and keeps us from pestering innocent bystanders.
JPL is going very well and it feels great to work in Flex again after a break. Code is like a language, if you don't speak it for a while you get rusty. Only downside is I am in a classic situation where the real project owner just doesn't have time to be bothered with it, so we get third hand what someone else thinks they want. Less effective.
DEQ is rolling right along and I am further than even I thought I would be at this time. Should finish it sooner than expected. (Is that a form of punishment that I get less hours and thus less pay by being efficient?) I think in the long term it will pay off with dividends.
Because I ended up not traveling this weekend I spent Friday afternoon cruising LA for Brazilian supermarkets. I found three, two were viable, and one wasn't grossly over-priced. So wouldn't you know the furthest one away is the best. I stocked up on the basics and got Julie some flip-flops.
It is boring, but I really do work all day and since I doubt you all want to hear about the joys of <cfdump> or <mx:RemoteObject>, I will call it a post.

Miss you guys! Jonathan got a birthday present this weekend. His birthday is on Saturday, the 5th. He'll be so happy I told you. :-) You'll have to call and ask him what he got. Sorry we missed your call the other day. Happy belated Easter. Hope to talk soon. Thanks for posting just because. I appreciate it!
