We're Moving...Sort of

Just thought I would let the three people who actually read our blog know that the kids and I are moving back to Idaho in the middle of August. I got my old job back teaching preschool at Challenger School and the renters are moving out of our house at the end of the month. Rance is going to stay in California to work and come and visit us on the weekends. I'm not looking forward to the whole "long distance relationship" thing, but hopefully we won't have to do it forever.

I know that I have moved around too much in my life because any time I see discarded boxes, I have the Pavlovian desire to pull over and cram them into the back of the van. Just the sight of cardboard peeking out of a dumpster, and I am mentally assessing which items from our house would fit into which box and how sturdy/waterproof each box is. I have discovered that old plastic grocery bags make excellent packing material that can easily be recycled, and I know the exact order in which I will pack up each room. I even have dreams at night about organizing and storing our material possessions. Before you think I am totally off my rocker, this is my fourth move in less then two years. That is bound to test the sanity of anyone.
