Return of the rambler

I am back, did you miss me? Don't answer that.

So I have tons of stuff to report, so I will quick hit some of the stuff I have been up to besides working tons.

We went to Long Beach by way of the Metro. It started out fun, but the 2 hours each way on a light rail killed the sense of adventure. Some day when I have time to edit it, we have video of the kids all excited in the beginning but by the end every one is grouchy. It is too bad the metro killed it for us because Long Beach itself is a really nice area with a very cool harbor.

In early June Randy, Craig, Derrick, Ross and I had a crazy adventure in Mexico. Driving in I got lost and we ended up in some pretty scary areas of TJ, (reminded me of some of my mission areas) but we got out of there and made it down to our sleepy beach town of Rosarito. The next day we went fishing out of Ensenada. Luckily Derrick cleaned house and we had a great fish dinner. We hit the market and fought off the pushy salesmen, but not before we all over-paid for at least one item.
Ross wins for best dressed to fight off the cartel.

Isn't she such a cutie?

Oh, and here is a flower I took a picture of in Mexico.

One of my coworkers, Anil Natha, hooked us up with free passes to LegoLand. It was a lot of fun and perfect our kids age range. I really like the northern San Diego area. I picked this picture because I look small, but for that to happen you can't even see Tyler. Go to Flickr and you can see all the pictures of our adventure.

Well I hope to be more consistent in the future. Check back to hear about our crazy new adventure we have planned for the fourth of July. It involves children, camping, sand, boats, and an island. Torture or paradise... we shall see!

What ARE you doing for the 4th? We bombed the firework show last year, so we better plan a little better this year...GREAT adventures you are having! I admire you guys for that.
