Regular Folk Report

I decided I better give an update on what we were doing while Julie was chillin' with her peeps in Hollywood last Saturday. I took the kids and we hit the beach North of Ventura. It is a really nice beach that the Kents told us about. It was a little more crowded than I expected, but it was a great beach. There were great places for the kids to play in the water without the waves crashing on them and an area with tons of shells and rocks for them to look at. We found some pretty cool shells.

As the kids where winding down I saw a big white van roll up and was treated to the most efficient and effective unloading job I have ever seen. There is a rock retaining wall and they set up a fire line and passed coolers, toys, surf boards and kids down the line to the beach. It was a matter of minutes and the Lassen family was unloaded and ready to go. It was great seeing them for a bit. I should have taken notes on the process, except our ratio of kids to adults is all wrong.

It is funny to look at the archive and how our posting trends out:
December 20
January 10
February 3 (This one makes 4)

At this rate we will be posting every other month shortly!

I know I shouldn't be whining, but I want some more of that Saturday weather! I can't believe I cleaned my garage instead of going to the beach. Problem with Feria beach, is the Lassen's have been telling everyone how great it is. Dern it. And the fact that there are no public restrooms, so you use the rocks or the water. Our kids are quite good at it, don't tell the authorities, kay?
