Cool Flex Tool Post

I have to say I am really impressed with a new Flex built application called Sprout. It is in Beta still but I was able to throw together the BYU countdown 'widget' in a matter of minutes. It doesn't look great but I literally spent 10 minutes on it, most of which was finding a logo that looked good.

Now for the coolest part. If you like the widget you simply click the share button and it allows you to post to myspace, blogspot, etc. or it gives you the code to embed in your site. Then if I ever update my widget to look halfway decent I simply publish it again and it will update everywhere that widget is installed.

Anyway, I was thinking it would be great to see what someone like Jonathon Kent or Joseph could throw together. Blasted creative types.

Right now the countdown to next season is downright depressing. Maybe I will have to countdown to spring practice!
