Julie and I are even again

So we have this family tradition that every time Julie has a baby I pass a kidney stone. The night before Emma was born we spent in the ER while I passed a stone. Within a week of Laura being born I was passing another kidney stone.

I finally broke the tradition with Tyler, but Thursday night I pulled even again. I woke up in the middle of the night and was in tons of all too familiar pain. So I spent the night in the ER on morphine next to the most annoying person in LA. (Don't do drugs children) He "couldn't breathe", but if he would have shut up for 3 seconds he would have had plenty of air.

The bad news is that the CAT scan shows that I still have another stone to pass. So they sent me home with some pain killers and told me to stay hydrated.

By Friday afternoon I went in to work so I could get some rest. Cubicle city is much quieter than three kids in an apartment. Anyway, just laying low, staying hydrated and waiting for the other shoe to drop.
