At the zoo

I spent my Friday off at the zoo with the Joy School group Laura recently joined. They seem like a great group and Laura was instantly friends with all of the kids. Here are some pictures of the crazy event:

One hot mama and a good looking young man.

Flamingo

They have a big empty pit, and this sign in front of it. The best part was someone nearby said, "I thought those were extinct."

Here is an old Silverback. They have a whole family, and the kids loved the baby gorilla. He was very playful and would mess around with the kids through a glass barrier.

Looking pretty worn out at the end, but as cute as ever.

We all had a good time at the zoo.

Looks like fun at the zoo! Great picture of the giraffe's head. I've never seen one that close...me being vertically challenged and all!!

It was a baby giraffe and I was up on a ledge. Don't worry, being vertically challenged is a family trait.
