Miramar Air Show

Now for the story behind my sweet tan lines... I spent a day at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar just north of San Diego. It was a great day and if any of you get the chance to go next year go for it.

F-16 High Speed Pass

I will post some pics from it, I haven't really had time to process most of the pictures, but I have some of them up on flickr. Check back there after this weekend for the rest. The highlights for me were the Air Ground Assault Demo and the F-22 Raptor. The statics were pretty cool as well, the Osprey is very impressive in real life. To get the full effect of the pictures I highly recommend going to flickr and viewing them in the original size, the details are pretty sweet.

F-22 Raptor (yes I may have a crush)

F-18 Hornet just before going super-sonic.

Marine Forward Team deploys

If anyone wants to join me at the Nellis Air Show on the 8th of November, let me know. I am about 80% right now. They will have the Raptor again and rumors of an Osprey and Predator UAV flight demo as well as a B-2 flyover. Don't worry, I will take some sunscreen this time!

For those of you worried about my homeless status, I will be crashing at the Kent's house in Camarillo for a couple of months until we figure which way we are going to go. If Prop 8 gets defeated it will make that decision much easier. Thanks Kents!
