I spent November 7-9 in Las Vegas to go to the air show at Nellis. It turned into an even better trip when one of my mission companions contacted me on facebook and said he lived in Vegas and I could stay with him. They were great hosts and really showed me a fun side of Vegas, and one that doesn't have to stay in Vegas.
Another great benefit is that his sister is good friends with a pilot on the base and he was able to get us on the base without the obligatory cavity search. The show was great fun and I will put some pics here, but if you are actually interested in seeing the planes you should go to my flickr account.
Anyway, it was a great time and a huge shout out to the Popes for showing me a great time.

Amazing pics, and I don't really mean the planes. Like, if you ever get burned out of being a computer geek, you could be a photographer.
